I have found a site that offers such teaching, TutorialArea. This site offers lessons in many different computer areas and photography. SelectIndex

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

I found a directory the other day that was appealing both as a consumer and a Webmaster.  SelectIndex is a human edited directory with a listing of thousands of sites. SelectIndex

As a consumer, SelectIndex offers a comprehensive listing of Websites.  These sites are divided into eighteen different categories.  Each category is broken into subcategories, making it quite easy to find the Website to meet your needs.  Also, there are reviews of  Websites on the blog page.  These reviews are both informative and well-written.

As a Webmaster, SelectIndex has a multitude of options available.  Links can be purchased for as little as $0.99.  Featured links are only $9.95 for a year’s subscription.   You can also submit your Website for review at SelectIndex Blog.  When submitting your Website you have the choice of paying $12 for the review or simply putting two links to SelectIndex Blog on two different sites.

This human edited directory has many advantages.  The costs associated with this Website are nominal.  New links are posted quickly, 4 hours or less for featured links and 24 hours or less for regular links.  SelectIndex is growing rapidly and has traffic increasing daily.  It also has a Google Page Rank of 4.

Whether you are searching for a new Website or are looking to increase traffic to your own Website, SelectIndex is perfect.

Fandie LTD Launches New Way to Park Domains

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

Fandie LTD have decided to launch a new parking program for domain name holders. So what is so revolutionary in what Fandie are doing? We put these questions to Fandie CEO Kerr Gracie

“Well at Fandie we offer the domain holder a wealth of new options, For a start we will give the user 75% of all parking click through revenue where other compainies offer 40% or less, We also do not have a broker fee on any sold domains which can be a massive saving for the domain name holder easily into the thousands”

So why would a user park at fandie, what else can you offer a domain holder?

“Are landing pages are newly designed and aimed to give a fresh and more appealing look to them, encouraging the user to click through on the ads, We have also intergrated the templates so that the domain holder can choose a vast amount of different styles and headers which they can choose to show on the landing page, for example if a domain holder has say a casino domain the domain holder can customise the landing page with casino headers which will result in a much higher click through rate and give alot higher revenue to the domain name holder”

Revenue sharing from a parked domain works by traffic being directed to a search page or pay per click page where any visitors to your parked domain may click on the ads and you receive a percentage of the revenue from this.

Traffic parking claims that a parked domain receives on average 8 hits per month but a popular domain name may get thousands of visitors due to direct type ins and miss typed domains. Unless you have a popular domain name it probably isn’t worth the effort to use a revenue sharing parking service and just use your registrars default parking page.

So domain parking is a process where you register a domain and leave it until you are ready to use it. You may or may not have a parking page where any stray visitors will see a default host parking page or if you use a domain parking service an ad targeted page.

Kerr also added

“Most importanly we strive on customer service, Our users have been let down by other compaines and have got frustrated by late payments from other compainies of just a general feeling of they dont care, We aim to provide a quality service and work closely with all of out clients.”

It looks like fandie are well on there way to offering a quality service for domainers alike, can they sustain this in the ever changing world of ppc and traffic on the net,Have a look at their site and decide for yourselves www.fandie.com

Only time will tell but it looks a step in the right direction!

AdToll Launches

Monday, June 18th, 2007

AdToll.com, the premier advertisement management network, has launched worldwide on June 18, 2007. This new program essentially helps webmasters to market and sell ads to prospective advertisers on their websites.

This revolutionary new network is sure to change the way that publishers and advertisers come together to do business. Publishers working for Adtoll will make much more than any other network on the internet because AdToll believes that publishers should have the money they have rightfully made. Therefore, AdToll only takes 25% of the income that websites generate whereas other networks take, on average, more than 50% of website’s generated income. Not only that, but AdToll provides one-on-one assistance to help publishers generate the most income such as advising in strategic places that ads should be placed.

The owner and lead developer of AdToll describes the innovative new service as, “A new advertising network bringing together publishers and advertisers providing effective, profitable and reliable service.”

AdToll supports users by offering text ads and banner ads in a plethora of different sizes. In addition, AdToll is known for its ability to, unlike other ad management services, to seamlessly blend advertisements with content to generate more revenue. AdToll also differs from others because it has the ability to reach the target market, which increases returns for both the publisher and the advertiser, and to provide detailed statistics, which helps publishers make determination on what type of ads to have.

AdToll accepts any site for business, no matter its content and language, and makes monthly payouts using PayPal, cheque or bank transfer. This groundbreaking program is available at http://www.AdToll.com.
